Country: Grenada Abbreviation: GRN
Notes:

In 1974 the Grenadian flag was adopted. It consists of the colours red, green and gold with six small gold stars-
three at the top and three at the bottom of the flag, and a seventh star on a red circle, in the centre of the flag. The stars represent the the seven Parishes in Grenada; the central star represents St George's parish which is located in the capital St. George's.

The clove of nutmeg which is one of Grenada's main crops, on the left-hand side symbolises the spices that are grown in Grenada. Because of this, Grenada was once known as the "Spice Island".

The colours green, gold and red are the Pan-African colours, they signify the African roots of Grenada.
