Comprising of 2 blue vertical bands sandwiching a golden yellow band which has a black broken trident in its centre.
The blue represents the sea and the sky and the yellow the sands of the island. The Trident is a symbol of Neptune and is broken to symbolize Barbados' independence of Britain.
