The Puerto Rican flag consists of five equal alternate horizontal bands of red and white, a blue isosceles triangle is placed on the hoist side of the flag with a white star located in the centre. The blue on the flag, can be changed however, because it is said to be changeable to the families beliefs. However, it does have to stay blue. This flag was adopted in 1995 and is still in operation today.
