The flag of the netherlands Antilles is white, with a blue stripe horizontal across the centre. There are five white stars inside the centre of this flag on the blue background. The five stars are said to represent the five main islands of Bonaire, Curacao, Saba, Sint Eustatius and sint maarten.

Althought the flag has changed over time, the main colours of red, blue and white have remained; it is just the way that they have been displayed that sets them apart.
