Mongolia's current flag has been used since 12th February 1992, it is similar to the 1949 flag except it does not contain the socilaist star. It is made up of two colours: red and blue. However, red is used twice in the vertical layout.

The National emblem is also used on the flag, being positioned on the left side. Over time, the Mongolian flag has changed however it has kept the same basic colours and flag layout.
