The National Flag of Armenia consists of a red, ble and orange horizontal triband and was first introduced in 1920 after it's declaration of Independence from the Soviet Union.
The colours are symbolic of the spilled blood of the soldiers (red), a hopeful future with clear skies (blue), and the fertile farmland (orange).
